SAPP queries data collection by party
“Many senior citizens were seen waiting for hours, hopeful that by submitting the form they would secure financial assistance and over the course of several days, the gathering migrated to the ground floor of the Foh Sang Parking Building,” Gee said.
Kota Kinabalu: SAPP has accused the DAP Luyang Constituency Office of collecting personal data from the public, including mobile phone numbers, identity card details, bank account information, employment records and educational background.

Its Vice President Gee Tien Seng claimed applicants are required to photocopy a blank form at their own expense (20 sen per copy), and this form consists only of a set of columns to be filled in without any letterhead, logo, or identifying details, which casts serious doubts on its legitimacy.
