Following the call, an investigating officer was dispatched to the scene and met a witness who reported seeing a man, approximately 70 years old, standing on the bridge railing before jumping into the Padas River at around 3.45pm.

Azmir said that on the same day, the missing man’s son filed a police report after finding his father’s white Proton Iswara near Binai Bridge.
