Political stability must continue: Chief Minister
Hajiji said the Government’s achievements and various initiatives should continue to be publicised so more grassroots people know the Government’s efforts.
KOTA BELUD: Political unity and stability must continue to be maintained as they can bring more progress to the State, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

He said many achievements and initiatives have been made by the current Government that were never implemented before.

“No one can deny that since we took over the Government, we have achieved many successes through various initiatives never before undertaken by previous governments.

“From economic aspects to people’s welfare and education, we have done a lot. Indeed, our investor-friendly policies have created thousands of job opportunities.

“Therefore, if we have political unity and stability, we can advance this State. That is why unity is important and I see that not only Bajau community or Muslims are present at this event, but also other communities, including church leaders in Kota Belud,” he said at the Berbuka Puasa bersama Ketua Menteri Ceremony in the Masjid Jamek Kampung Taun Gusi on Wednesday.

Hajiji said the Government’s achievements and various initiatives should continue to be publicised so more grassroots people know the Government’s efforts.

“I want to highlight these (government initiative successes) because some may be unaware of our efforts. This is because the opposition loves to slander and claim the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah government has failed,” he said.

At the event, Hajiji also launched the Sabah Native Land Service Grant (Pantas) programme for Rosok and Keguraan, and handed over land grants to 55 recipients in Tempasuk.

A total of 16 villages are involved in receiving these grants, covering 1,559.8165 hectares, equivalent to 3,854.39 acres.
