Sabah Speaker denies RM350,000 bribery claim, says he was trapped
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah State Assembly Speaker, Datuk Seri Kadzim M Yahya, has denied receiving RM350,000 from an individual, as alleged in a video uploaded by a news portal on Monday.

He clarified that he only borrowed RM50,000 from the person and was unaware of the RM350,000 claim.

"I don’t know about RM350,000. My response was regarding RM50,000 that I borrowed, but he said it's okay," he said when contacted.

Kadzim claimed he was also "trapped" like other state assembly members linked to a corruption scandal through secretly recorded videos.
