KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor dismissed claims that the Government’s recent development project announcements were politically motivated, stating they were part of its duty to serve the people.

He criticised opposition leaders for raising issues without offering solutions, asserting that the Government would continue announcing projects as needed.

Hajiji stressed that development efforts aimed at improving public welfare, including resolving water and electricity issues, were the Government’s responsibility.

He said this at the launch of the State Higher Education Student Contribution (Sentosa) programme at the Gaya Campus Teacher Education Institute on Thursday.
