KOTA KINABALU: Two vehicles caught fire in Bandaran here on Thursday evening, prompting a swift response from the Fire and Rescue Department.

A Proton Saga was destroyed entirely, while a Proton Saga FLX sustained 2 per cent damage.

Eight firefighters from the Kota Kinabalu station arrived at the scene within five minutes after the emergency call was made at 8.01pm.

The fire was brought under control at 8.38pm before the operation concluded at 8.45pm.
