TUARAN: Tuaran MP Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau will use the Asean Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR) network to help a family in Kampung Bukit Giling, Tamparuli, whose son is believed to be a victim of human trafficking in Myanmar.

He said this while responding to media questions after accompanying the victim’s family to file a police report.

As a member of APHR, he intends to reach out to parliamentarians from relevant countries to raise awareness of the case.

He pledged to maximise regional networks, including those in Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia, to assist the family and keep track of developments.
