BEAUFORT: Two people suffered injuries in a road accident involving a Perodua Kancil and a Toyota Avanza on Jalan Kampung Mempagar here around noon on Wednesday.
A senior male passenger in the Perodua Kancil was trapped in the vehicle, while another occupant sustained injuries.
District Fire and Rescue personnel extricated the trapped victim using rescue tools.
Both injured individuals were handed over to the Health Ministry’s ambulance team for hospital treatment.
The operation, involving nine personnel and two emergency vehicles, concluded at 12.40pm.
