KENINGAU: A 12-year-old boy who was feared to have drowned while bathing in the river at Kampung Baru Durok here was rescued by villagers before the arrival of the firemen.

The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 1.34pm and three members rushed to the scene. After obtaining information from the victim, the operation was ended at 2.20 pm.
