TAWAU: Strong collaboration between leaders and the community brought joy to 60 children in the pediatric ward of Tawau Hospital.

Kukusan Assemblywoman Datuk Rina Jainal, along with the Madani community of Kampung Muhibbah, distributed “duit raya” (festive money) and gifts to the children through the JIWA Komuniti Madani Community Programme.

Rina emphasised that a close relationship between leaders and the community allows more underprivileged individuals to receive support.

“I hope such collaboration will continue to grow so that we can help more people in need,” she said.

Earlier, Rina and the Madani Community of Kampung Jawa Lanut distributed food baskets to 30 underprivileged individuals in the village.
