Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Luyang Community Development Leader Gee Tien Siong accused Luyang Assemblyman Phoong Jin Zhe of taking over existing parking spaces and forcing the partial relocation of market stalls at the newly-opened RM30 million Foh Sang Complex.
“According to local government regulations, commercial areas must provide on-street parking spaces proportional to the build-up area.
“However, the Luyang Assemblyman recently occupied existing parking spaces to install flower beds, demonstrating a disregard for these regulations,” he said in a statement.
“Numerous residents have complained that the newly-installed flower beds are not only impractical but also possess an ominous appearance,” he said.
