Hiker rescued after fall during Mount Kinabalu descent
RANAU: A 41-year-old Malaysian male hiker was rescued after falling at KM7.2 while descending Mount Kinabalu on Wednesday morning.

Ranau Fire and Rescue Station’s Mountain Search and Rescue (Mosar) team, with six personnel, responded alongside five mountain guides and three SAR-HAT officers.

The injured hiker, unable to stand or move both arms, received initial treatment before being evacuated using a Robinson stretcher to Laban Rata and Timpohon Gate.
