Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government has approved the disbursement of a Special Financial Assistance, amounting to RM1,000, to all state civil servants in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Pesta Kaamatan celebrations this year.

State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the special assistance involves payment of RM500 each for Aidilfitri and Pesta Kaamatan

“This decision was approved at the State Cabinet meeting today, and the payment will be made in time for the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Pesta Kaamatan,” he said in a statement, Wednesday.

“This is in line with the State Government’s desire to ensure the well-being of state civil servants, as well as to express appreciation to civil servants for their contributions.”

Masidi said the State Government wishes to express its appreciation to all civil servants and hopes this special assistance would serve as a boost to them to continue working harder and improving the quality of service to the people.
