Held – amok who threatened to kill parents
Jasmin said the suspect is now being investigated for criminal intimidation.
TAWAU: A man who ran amok and threatened to kill his parents at Kg Serudong Baru, Jalan Quoin Hill, on Jan 15, was arrested on Tuesday.

Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the 30-year-old suspect was apprehended at 12.30pm in the village by a team from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Tawau District Police Headquarters (IPD).

He said initial investigations found that the suspect had run amok at his father’s home and pointed a machete at his parents, threatening to kill them,” he said.

The suspect was also found to have been arrested before this for drug-related offences, he said.
