SEMPORNA: A man was killed in a three-vehicle crash at Jalan Kampung Kubang Baru, here, Wednesday.

Semporna Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Madzlan Sarman said his department received a distress call about the incident at 2.20pm.

Seven Fire and Rescue personnel rushed to the scene in two machines.

“Upon arrival, we found two Four Wheel Drives (4WD) and a Proton Gen 2 involved in the collision. 

“The Gen 2’s driver was pinned inside his vehicle and died due to serious injuries,” he said.

Madzlan said both the 4WD drivers escaped unhurt while the victim was handed over to the police for further action.
