PENAMPANG: Police confirmed a viral road accident in Putatan involving a motorcycle and two cars on Friday at around 3.20 pm.
Penampang District Police Chief, Supt. Sammy Newton, stated that initial investigations revealed the 19-year-old local motorcyclist lost control and crashed into a car ahead.
“Following the accident, the motorcyclist rushed toward another vehicle behind him and struck the right-side window,” he said in a statement.
However, he confirmed that the incident was resolved amicably between the motorcyclist and the owner of the Perodua Kenari involved.
Sammy reminded road users to exercise caution to prevent accidents caused by negligence or reckless behavior.
