SEMPORNA: Two people were injured in a road accident involving three vehicles along Jalan Kubang Pinang here on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, the emergency call was received at 4.17pm, and a team of five firefighters arrived at the scene at 4.34pm.

The accident involved a Perodua Axia, Perodua Alza, and an Isuzu D-Max, with two injured victims from the Axia sent to Semporna Hospital for treatment.

The driver and passenger of the Isuzu D-Max, as well as the driver of the Alza, escaped unhurt.

The operation ended at 5.11pm after confirming the scene was safe.
