SEMPORNA: The General Operations Force (GOF) seized over RM1 million worth of unapproved cosmetic and health products during Op Taring Dosej at Jalan Pinggir Bakau on Wednesday.

Acting on intelligence, the GOF raided an unnumbered premise suspected of being used as a storage facility at around 8.10am.

Officers discovered large boxes containing items such as whitening soap, lotion, traditional herbs, and health drinks believed to lack approval from the Health Ministry.

Three men were arrested at the scene, and three vehicles allegedly used for transport and storage were also confiscated.

All seized items, including the RM892,792 worth of products and RM150,000 worth of vehicles, were handed over to Customs for investigation under Section 135(1)(d) of the Customs Act 1967.
