Sabah must maintain momentum
We could have taken a more comfortable lead later on following the shaky start, but S. Kumarahaan in a one on one situation blew it by blasting the ball over the bar.
SABAH FC collected three valuable points after defeating PDRM FC with a slim 1-0 victory at the Likas Stadium on Tuesday night.

It was a job well done for the boys. As I had expected, PDRM FC were able to hold the upper hand in the game where Sabah FC’s defence was torn apart especially earlier in the first half.

They created some scoring chances but were unable to convert them and our defence was able to stay firm until the 42nd minute when Dominic Tan eased the pressure with the opening goal.

He headed home from close range off a corner kick taken by Saddil Ramdani. Although the PDRM custodian had tried to come off of his line to catch the cross, he seemed to have misjudged the flight of the ball and it fell perfectly to Dominic at the far post.
