Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government aims to survey 7,500 native land lots covering 15,000 hectares through enhanced digitalisation initiatives this year. 

This is among the Government’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the Land Administration System through comprehensive digitalisation initiatives.

“To ensure sustainable and optimal land use several new systems and applications have been developed to facilitate more efficient data management and land enforcement,” said Musa.

He cited new systems and applications such as Smart Geo Sabah, 3D Building application and the Computerised Land Enforcement Management System.

“For 2025, the Sabah Government has set clear targets to survey at least 7,500 native land lots covering some 15,000 hectares, while also gazetting no fewer than 80 native village areas,” he said. 

The announcement builds on Sabah’s successful efforts in 2024, during which 8,672 native land lots covering 17,701.5 hectares were surveyed and 82 native village reserves were gazetted.
