Sabah Umno to collaborate with PH in state elections
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno will collaborate with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the upcoming state elections, announced its chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin (pic).

This partnership was solidified following a retreat with Sabah PH leaders in Penang late last year.

Bung also expressed openness to working with local parties, though he acknowledged the lack of progress in such alliances.

He reaffirmed that Sabah Umno, which consists entirely of Sabahans, seeks to bring development, except for Usukan assemblyman Datuk Seri Salleh Said, who has defied party policy.

Bung clarified that while Umno will defend its 41 seats, the focus will be on winnable seats, with flexibility in seat negotiations to ensure success.
