Super League may lose its appeal: JDT dominance leaving other teams fighting for scraps
I hope some measures will be taken to make the league more competitive, otherwise it will lose its appeal and the fans will shy away from attending matches in the future.
Sabbah FC will take on Perak FC in the final fixture of this season’s Super League match at the Likas Stadium this Sunday (April 20).

The pressure is off for the team as we are now guaranteed a third place finish after our closest rivals Kuching City FC lost 0-2 to Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) FC in Kuching on Wednesday night.

The final result on Sunday will not matter to Sabah FC’s third place position as we have a four-point lead over Kuching City FC with only three points still available.

It is a feat repeated three years in a row but are we only best at this level? The facts remain that JDT FC are too strong a team. They have been champions for more than 10 years or so and all other teams in the league are basically playing for second and third place.
