Autistic boy,  5, missing 
Tuaran: A five-year-old autistic boy with disabilities is feared missing after disappearing from his home in Kampung Bahagia Dua, Tamparuli, last Sunday.  

The child, identified as Muhd Aniq (pic above), was discovered missing by his family around 1.30pm.

Tuaran District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Mohammad Nor Amit, said they received an emergency call from Tamparuli Police Station at 1.52pm.  

He said upon receiving the call, 12 personnel, including two K9 tracking dog unit members, rushed to the scene.

“Upon arrival, the fire department conducted a search within a 300-meter radius of where the victim was last seen, assisted by the K9 unit. However, as of 7pm, the search operation was suspended on police orders and will resume tomorrow,” he said.  

The search and rescue operation also involved the police, Malaysian Civil Defence Force and villagers.
