Man, 65, held over threats via WhatsApp
ACP Jasmin said no property seizures or losses were reported in the incident and the suspect also had no prior criminal record. 
TAWAU: A 65-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threatening a 67-year-old retiree via WhatsApp on Sunday. 

Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the local suspect was arrested in front of a house in Taman Semarak about 3.30pm following a police report lodged by the victim.

The victim claimed to have received threatening messages from the suspect during a WhatsApp conversation between them. 

“Initial investigations found that the suspect sent messages containing serious threats against the victim, including threats to injure and kill certain parties,” Jasmin said in a statement, here, Monday.
