Joniston dismisses talk of PBS, Star leaving GRS
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Information Chief Datuk Joniston Bangkuai has dismissed speculation that PBS and Star may leave the coalition, calling such a move politically senseless.

Joniston, who is also PBS Information Chief and Kiulu Assemblyman, said there is no push from within either party to break away from GRS, which they helped establish.

He was responding to a recent article quoting analysts suggesting both parties would be “better in than out” of the coalition as the state election nears.

He said PBS and Star remain committed to strengthening GRS through joint strategies and tackling key issues like rural infrastructure and youth development.
