Umno’s real enemy was Warisan, not GRS - Zulkarnain
Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar fired back at UMNO Sabah’s Strategic Communications Director, Datu Rosman Datu Ahir Zaman, calling him “ignorant” and “unfit” after being accused of meddling in party affairs and lacking loyalty.

“I’ve been politically active in Sabah since 1995. I don’t need to be an UMNO member to speak up,” Zulkarnain said, adding that he supported UMNO when it made sense and opposed it when Bung Moktar collaborated with Shafie Apdal in a failed coup.

Zulkarnain, who is also the Gerakan Kuasa Rakyat Malaysia Chairman said Rosman never lifted a finger when Warisan ruled Sabah, but now pretends to be a political hero.

“The real enemy is Warisan, not GRS-PH. Rosman is confused and unqualified. Bung placed the wrong man in a critical role,” he said, suggesting former Youth Chief Datuk Ir Julkarnain would’ve been a better fit.

He slammed Warisan’s past rule for economic decline, cronyism, and what he called Sempornasisation, accusing Rosman of turning a blind eye to all of it.

“Rosman’s immaturity proves UMNO Sabah is suffering a leadership crisis,” he said.
