Man found dead in Pitas
PITAS: A 57-year-old man was found dead, believed drowned, off the coast of Kg Rosob beach, here, on Friday.

The body of the victim, identified as Muslim Masapi, was discovered by rescue personnel from Pitas Fire and Rescue Station at 1.55pm, approximately 200 meters from where he was reported missing.

According to Senior Fire Officer II and Pitas Fire and Rescue Station Chief Noor Jali Maslah, the victim was believed to have drowned while fishing with his son along the shore of Kg Rosob on Thursday at 11pm.

He said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer from Pitas Hospital.
