SANDAKAN: A 19-year-old male motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after crashing into a bush area along Jalan Sungai Kayu, Mile 7 here on Monday afternoon.

The District Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 3.26pm and arrived at the scene at 3.40pm, located about 11km from the station.

The victim, who suffered a hand injury, received initial treatment from the fire team before being handed over to the Health Ministry for further medical care.

The operation concluded at 4.07pm.
