Faisal Halim’s acid attack case classified as NFA, says lawyer
Selangor FC winger Faisal Halim suffered fourth-degree burns from the acid attack on May 5. He has since recovered and returned to action with the club.
PETALING JAYA: The investigation into the acid attack on national footballer Faisal Halim in May last year has been classified with no further action (NFA), according to his lawyer.

Nik Zarith Nik Moustpha said that the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) communicated this decision through a letter dated Feb 18.

“The letter stated that the police could not find any clues or leads that could link any individual as a suspect to this case. All efforts made towards this goal have been unsuccessful.

“Our client (Faisal) was disappointed with the outcome of the investigation,” he told a press conference today.
