SOOK:  A woman in her 50s who was feared missing in a rubber plantation at Kampung Johan Jaya here on Thursday evening was found safe by villagers on Friday morning.

Sook Fire and Rescue station chief Faisal Ahmad said the woman was discovered by another plantation worker with firefighters at around 7.30am.

The station received an emergency call on Thursday reporting that the woman had not returned after heading to her plantation by car at 6am.

Her daughter, who made the call, said it was unusual for the woman not to return home by 5pm, prompting concern among the family and villagers.
