GRS ready to go solo in state polls, says Hajiji
KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is prepared to contest the upcoming state election on its own if Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) decide to collaborate, said Chief Minister and GRS chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor in a statement in Friday.

He said GRS remains firm in its belief that Sabah should be led by local parties that understand the state's culture, realities, and people’s needs.

Departing from this principle would be ignoring the aspirations of a large segment of Sabahans, he said.

Hajiji reiterated that GRS is committed to political stability and the well-being of the people, which he said is crucial for strengthening both the state government and the national Unity Government.
