KOTA KINABALU: Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (Harapan Rakyat) fully supports Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor’s decision for Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) to contest solo in the upcoming state election.
Its secretary-general, Christy Chok (

She said the move reflects the aspirations of the Sabah people, who want self-determination without relying on external approval.
Chok added that other parties are entitled to their positions, but Harapan Rakyat stands firmly behind GRS and welcomes like-minded partners.
She said GRS has already proven it can lead effectively in driving development and the state economy without waiting for a “green light” from outside parties.
