TAWAU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, on Sunday, said that he is optimistic about the possibility of cooperation between Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN), and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) for the upcoming state election.
He said early discussions have taken place between PH and BN at the federal level, with a shared understanding that unity is essential.
Anwar noted that he had also discussed strengthening cooperation between PH and GRS with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
He added that any negotiations between GRS and BN would be left to both parties, but PH fully supports the Chief Minister’s role in leading discussions in Sabah.
Hajiji confirmed that GRS is open to dialogue, and discussions will take place accordingly.
