GRS ready to contest solo in Sabah polls, says Gagasan Rakyat Petagas chief
PUTATAN: Petagas Gagasan Rakyat chief Isquzawan Arsit said Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has consistently supported a GRS–Pakatan Harapan (PH) Plus alliance, but is ready to lead GRS into the state election independently if necessary.

He noted that PH’s recent shift towards Barisan Nasional (BN) has prompted the Chief Minister to assert GRS’s readiness to contest solo, affirming that Sabah should be governed by local parties.

Speaking at the party's annual division meeting, Isquzawan emphasised GRS’s grassroots strength, highlighting youth empowerment and the push for more young leaders as key to winning voter support.

He said Gagasan Rakyat’s outreach includes close collaboration with NGOs and local associations, while advocating for essential facilities and public universities in Petagas.
