Palm oil kernels worth RM2 million seized in Lahad Datu raid

LAHAD DATU: Marine Police and the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) seized 61 tonnes of palm oil kernels during a joint raid on an unnumbered premise at Jalan POIC on Wednesday.

Sabah Region Four Marine Police Commander ACP Mohd Nazri Ibrahim said two men, aged 39 and 48, were detained during the operation.

The suspects were caught in the act of transferring the kernels from a lorry to a trailer.

The team also seized two lorries (without tails), a trailer, two bulldozers, a bunker, and the kernels, with the haul valued at RM2 million.
