Kota Kinabalu: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (StarSabah) Wiramuda Exco Chief Jordan Jude Ellron called for local political parties to contest on their own strength in the upcoming State election rather than forming pre-election coalitions.
“The people should be given full power to choose who is worthy to represent them,” Jordan said in a recent Facebook post.
“Political cooperation should be formed after the election, not before,” he said.
Jordan said political alliances should be based on the trust and mandate of the people, rather than what he described as “secret agreements or short-term political interests.”
