KUDAT: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Tanjong Kapor Division Chief Datuk Ben Chong said regardless of whether the State’s ruling GRS coalition will contest the coming State election solo, the decision made by the Chief Minister should be respected.
The Tanjong Kapor Assemblyman, who defected from Warisan, said as a people’s representative under the party president’s leadership, support and compliance are the best approach.
“Because, in my view, at the grassroots level, we can go solo and if not, we can also manage,” he said, adding every GRS member, especially those in Tanjong Kapor, stand firmly behind Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor’s leadership.
“Whatever decision he makes as Chief Minister and GRS President, all must fully support it,” he said, at the Tanjong Kapor Gagasan Rakyat 2025 delegates’ meeting.
