At the scene of accident.
SANDAKAN: A man and a woman cheated death after their Toyota Land Cruiser plunged 300 metres down a ravine near Puu Jih Shih Temple along Jalan Cecily on Saturday.

Sandakan Fire and Rescue Station Chief PKPgB Jimmy Lagung said the vehicle veered off while the driver was attempting to park, causing it to plunge down a 300-foot hillside.

“Firefighters then extricated both victims from the ravine and handed them over to paramedics for initial treatment before they were taken to Duchess of Kent Hospital,” he said.
