Croc caught in front of house in Lahad Datu

LAHAD DATU: A one-and-half-metre long crocodile was caught in front of a house in Taman Seri Perdana, on Friday.

The Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Sumsoa Rashid, said his department received a distress call at 10.04pm.

A team of Fire and Rescue personnel was deployed to the scene and upon arrival spotted the crocodile in front of the house’s gate.

The team captured the crocodile using special tools and handed it over to the Wildlife Department for further action.
