Growing international interest in Sabah’s energy industry

Kota Kinabalu: Two global oil and gas service providers, Halliburton and the DPI Group, have partnered with local company Jalinan Enigma Sdn Bhd to offer specialised solutions aimed at enhancing oil and gas operations in Sabah.

The collaboration was revealed during a courtesy call on the Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at Menara Kinabalu, here on Tuesday, led by Halliburton’s Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific, Martin White.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Chief Minister on their scope of work, which includes well intervention, as well as sand and water management strategies to boost oil well productivity.

Also present were DPI Group Managing Director KY Doucet, Jalinan Enigma Chairman Yong Khen San and the company’s directors Kurunsikumaran, Abdul Fatakh Othman and Clive Jublee.
