KOTA KINABALU: A 32-year-old male motorcyclist died after being trapped under a 10-ton container truck in an accident at SBH Kibing Solar New Materials, Jalan 7 KKIP Timur at about 11.30am today.

Firefighters from Lintas and Kota Kinabalu firestation worked to rescue the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers.

The case has been handed over to the police for further action. The rescue operation involving 22 firefighters and multiple emergency vehicles was concluded by 12.37 pm.
