SOOK: A 14-year-old boy drowned while swimming with his family at TMR Lanas, Kg Pinipi Lanas, today.

The emergency call was received at 4.40 pm and the body was found by members of the public at 5.15 pm before the fire department arrived.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The search and rescue operation involved 6 firefighters, along with police and Health Ministry personnel.
