PUTATAN: In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha, the Putatan Parliament Office donated 30 cows to local mosques, suraus, and government departments to support the celebration and assist those in need.

Deputy Chief Minister III and Putatan MP, Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya, said the annual initiative reflects care for the community and strengthens the spirit of sacrifice and compassion.

“This contribution helps mosques and suraus carry out the korban and ensures underprivileged families can share in the blessings of Aidiladha,” he said during the handover at the Putatan District Office on Tuesday.

He urged mosque committees to prioritise distributing meat to the truly needy, believing that sincere efforts would foster unity and gratitude among residents.
