KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is not desperate for political alliances, according to Darau Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Chief Datuk Razali Razi.
He stressed that GRS’s priority is delivering results for Sabah, and its current alliance with Pakatan Harapan Plus is effective.
Razali responded to Sabah Umno’s Datuk Suhaimi Nasir’s comment labeling GRS as a “fragment” of past political forces, emphasizing that GRS was formed to meet the aspirations of Sabah’s people for change.
He rejected the idea of relying on past political legacies, focusing instead on local needs and the Sabah Maju Jaya roadmap.
“We focus on delivering our promises and on what’s good for the people not fantasize or play games in the media," Razali said, highlighting GRS's inclusivity and commitment to stability for the state's progress.
He also mentioned ongoing efforts to support the Darau community, like distributing food to 1,000 people during the Aidiladha program on Thursday.
"Gagasan Rakyat Darau has been consistently working for the people since its inception, not just during election time, with a focus on sincerity and positive outcomes," he said.
