Kota Kinabalu: Umno Sabah Assistant Treasurer Datuk Osman Jamal said the recent criticism of Sabah’s dilapidated roads by Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin should be a catalyst for immediate action, not political sparring.
He emphasised the devastating impact of poorly maintained roads, particularly in rural areas, on the daily lives of Sabahans.
“The damaged roads hinder access to education, healthcare and economic opportunities, impacting personal safety and livelihoods,” he said.
Osman said Bung’s outspokenness reflects a responsible leader’s duty to amplify the often-ignored concerns of his constituents.
