MASJID Al Falah Kepayan received a RM15,000 contribution from the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis) on Friday.

The contribution was presented by Head of State Tun Musa Aman after Friday prayers, attended by some 500 congregants and led by Muis officer Fikri Putung.

Following the prayer, Musa officiated the opening of the Al-Aman Room, which serves as a VIP guest lounge at the mosque.

Accompanying Musa were State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Arifin Mohd Arif and Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains) Director Datuk Jumain Abdul Ghani.
