PENAMPANG: A 41-year-old foreign man was killed in a late-night crash involving a car and motorcycle along the under-construction stretch of Jalan Pan Borneo in Kampung Kiranau.
Penampang police chief Supt. Sammy Newton said the crash occurred at around 11.20pm when a 26-year-old local woman lost control of her car and rear-ended the motorcycle, both heading towards Kota Kinabalu.

“The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel,” he said, adding that the body was sent to Queen Elizabeth I Hospital for post-mortem.
The woman was arrested and is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
