TAMPARULI: An 18-year-old sustained minor injuries after his car overturned in a single-vehicle crash along Jalan Kampung Bongol early Saturday morning.

The Perodua Bezza he was driving reportedly lost control and overturned before members of the public rescued him before the arrival of the fire brigade.

A distress call was received at 5.33am, and a team of 10 firefighters from the Tuaran Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene around 6.29am.

Firefighters conducted a safety inspection of the area to ensure no further hazards were present.

The operation was concluded at 6.32am once the scene was secured and no additional risks were found.
