Sabah tables RM1.2 billion supplementary bill to tackle roads, water issues
KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Government has tabled the 2025 Supplementary Supply Bill amounting to RM1.2 billion to ensure the continuity of governance and the implementation of people-centric projects until the end of the year.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, who presented the bill at the State Legislative Assembly sitting here on Monday morning, said the proposed additional allocation this year is largely meant to address two key issues: water supply and road infrastructure.

“Of the additional amount proposed in this tabling, RM523.5 million is allocated for that purpose.

“This clearly demonstrates the State Government’s commitment and determination to resolve issues that are constantly raised by the people and often politicised by parties with their own vested interests and agendas,” he said.
