Tuaran: Police are seeking the family of an unidentified man whose body was discovered at a premises in Taman Sri Rugading, Tuaran, on July 7.
Tuaran District Police Chief Superintendent Noraidin Ag Maidin confirmed that the deceased was found in a corridor of the premises and has since been sent to the Forensic Unit of Queen Elizabeth Hospital I in Kota Kinabalu for a post-mortem examination.
The victim is estimated to be in his 50s, with a beard, long hair, and approximately 170 centimeters tall. At the time of discovery, he was dressed in dark-colored jeans and a blue t-shirt featuring white Chinese characters on the back.
No identification documents were found on the victim, who was also barefoot at the scene.
Supt. Noraidin said the death has been classified as sudden death (SDR), with no evidence of foul play or struggle detected at the site.
The body remains at the Forensic Mortuary of Queen Elizabeth Hospital I as police continue efforts to identify and locate the deceased’s family.
